I have Diabetes too, and I was wondering if anyone recommends the OmniPod for me...I don't like the idea of the pump, because I don't like the 'stay in one place without replacing the needle' type thing....Every time I take a shot (about 5 times a day) I replace the needle. If I don't, it makes me feel weird. LOL.Thanks!

why is he making a stupid speech about his music? he could be doing other things like playing his shitty music. i bet none of you little teeny boppers ever heard of B.B. king. he was deep in diabetes and didnt make one speech about it. he is a guitar legend, but you give your sympathy to a faggot who can pay for it with the millions of dollars that he gets from little girls? jb fans need to wake up from this pop-culture trance and look at the big picture. after all, theyre just clones of hanson

I'll explain as simply as possible. haha In Type 1 diabetes, the body stops making insulin or makes only a small amount. Since insulin cannot be given by mouth, it is given by daily injections. In Type 2 diabetes, the body either doesn't make enough insulin, or is unable to use the insulin properly (which is called insulin resistance), or both. They can control it by diet and exercise or by pill. Type 2 is more common than type 1.
