sorry to trivialize such a great storybut for some reason in the beginning, i thought of the maury povich show and the male duck being one of those guys who's anxiously awaiting the paternity test and i couldn't stop laughing. i know it sounds weird as hell

Oh for heaven's sake, I'm crying like a baby now. H.C Andersen illustrated in the most heartbreaking beautiful way. It deserved an Oscar.This should be mandatory to show young school kids, maybe we'd have less bullies both young and old.
